Pitch requirements

  • Please reply to the email ASAP to confirm if you will be able to pitch your idea.  If you are unable to present, we want to give the next person on the list enough time to prepare. If you submitted more than one idea, let us know and we will let you know which one was chosen.
  • You will have 60 seconds max to pitch your idea.  Try to include the most important information and what you think will have the most impact with the audience. Don’t share your “secret sauce” without a patent though.
  • Optional – You will have the opportunity to submit 1 slide (PowerPoint) for your presentation.  Please submit your slide to millernvc@gmail.com by 8 am October 3.

Additional info

  • The event will be Thursday, October 3, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm in Room W408/W410 TNRB.  Please be at least 10 minutes early for the event if possible.
  • The presentation order will be randomly selected and given to the presenters during the competition.
  • Two separate judging groups from the audience will vote for their favorite ideas: (1) the Founders Group, made up of experienced business people and (2) general audience.
  • No particular dress code is required for presenters – your choice.
